The Burgundy Appreciation thread

Post by scotty »

Gotta love me some Burgundy the greatest Rickenbacker colour ever?
I'd like to see as many Burgundy Ricks in this thread as we can.
A little 330 from 83 one of my favs in my collection lots of dings but the thicker top just makes this a solid great 330.
Show us what you got.

I'm game. Remember my "color of the week" series years ago? Here is the Burgundy COY 4003 bass that I had for a while:

And one you may never see, Chris Clayton's specially finished 4004L:

And how many fretless 4000 basses in Burgundy will you ever see? Probably none other than Gary Clauson's:

Bought from Ron a few years back, still one of my favourites. I also fell in love with the 381/12V69 BG which was for sale a few months ago for a very reasonable price given its exclusivity, but I couldn't afford it at that point of time. Now it's on my wish-list for future purchases...

Did somebody say Burgundy?

This photo was taken a few years ago, during my "BurgundyGlo" period. Most of these instruments have been passed along to new owners.

They range in date from 1968 to 2003. The 360 in front is Michael's, also depicted above in his post.
