Great looking, and very interesting bass, Ben! I would hope this sells quickly as lots of folks say they want BT. Good luck with the sale. 8)

LOVE the color. 8)

And this may be my OCD kicking in  , but I would want a smiley faceplate if I bought this. :)

GLWTS. Truly a Work of Art. :!:
Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

A couple things I note are the color matched TRC and (I think) index lines on the knobs, plus it looks like there is only one dot at the 12th fret, under the D string (there is not one under the E string), at least it looks that way in the full instrument photo.

I just noticed that this looks like a bubinga fingerboard.

Cool bass! I love the color and like to see the guys over at RIC having some fun experimenting.

I definitely see two black dots at the 12th fret between the B and E, but only in the 1st photo angled from the bottom of the instrument; it's weird that dot does not appear in the overhead shot. The reflection on that part of the fret board looks strange to me, so maybe the photo was doctored for some reason?

The full length photo was definitely doctored. The same pattern of reflections show up between the 15th and 9th frets between the top three strings, and elsewhere nearby.

The Photoshop tool is called Rubber Stamp I believe. Its so fun to use! Its what sold that program for the first 10 years of its life! And its use can be obvious.

I would have used it to remove or even-out a reflection that was unsightly or unfit for professional work. I think that was done here. Totally reasonable, and at this resolution, it hardly matters. That mirror-smooth fretboard can really reflect you in the face!

Curious to hear from Ben why they did that. :?:

Sold to the first bidder for $3699...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

My guess would be some really bright reflections that he wanted to get rid of.
