Snowglo? 330?

Post by 73lemon »

I'm looking for info on the Snowglo finish that I've seen recently. Man, that looks amazing. I've only seen 360s and 4001s in this finish, and none for sale in the US. Was this finish only available on those two models, and only available to non-domestic dealers? I'd love to find a 330 in that finish...even better with black hardware (but I'm pretty sure *that* is not going to happen...!)

There were some 4004 Laredos made in Spring '13, too.

The register is your friend... lol

I am pretty sure they did some Snowglo 330 guitars in very early 2014, along with some in Blue Boy for the Japanese distributor.

They certainly did snowglo 620s and later in the year some 360s with gold plastic.

If you're a collector, hurry up and wait!

if you're a player and genuinely like the color, just grab a 330... el cheapo these days... and send to Larry Davis for a refin!

I was waiting and hoping for years...and I mean years...for a white on white RIC to be made again. I could have grabbed one a couple of years ago when the first limited run came out, but it was just not worth paying full retail for guitar color. 10 years ago I would have paid full retail, but I'm wiser now! I don't buy new gear now, even though I can afford it. So I agree - find a cheap 330 and have it refinished. It will look as good a new Rick but already be broken in. It might not feel as "plasticky", either. I just picked up a Jetglo 330 for about $800 (well, 2 years ago but it seems like yesterday).
