I've never sent in my cards on either guitar, one I've had since Sept 2015, the other is a year or two older. Any point in doing so now?
The second one was a guitar show purchase, and although it was "new", the warranty card is for a different model and color of guitar.
Maybe I should try to find who bought that one?

Re: Warranty
I have not bought a brand new RIC since 1982, but I am pretty sure the card is only valid if you send it in within the first year. (Or is it the first 6 months?)
Can't recall - but I suspect 4 years is a bit too long.
Also you have to have bought it from an authorized RIC dealer. Resellers or guitar shows don't count.
Still they make lovely souvenirs / case candy.
I am sure someone will chime in with firmer details then my hazy memory.

Re: Warranty
If you're having an issue, and you have your receipt, and you bought from an authorized dealer, you could always try politely pleading your case with RIC. You'll find plenty of stories of failed attempts online, but remember people rarely go on the internet to blab about good experiences.
