IMO, the answer to Tony's question as to value in part hinges on whether the 370-12 in question has the onboard compressor designed for the "official" RM models, and I'm assuming it does not. If not, I believe a trade for a 36012c63 in Jetglo would be an upgrade. It also gets down to preference. The C63 has the double-bound body and scatterwound (more jangly) pickups that Tony seems to prefer. One can argue back and forth about comparative value, but I believe the values would be comparable; at least they would be in a narrow range.

The C63 also has the advantage of an internal X-braced body.
