Confused about Australian distributor

Post by sentionaut »

Hi guys,

I have been digging through the forum but can’t find an answer on this on.

The Ric website lists CMI music as their Aussie distributors but the CMI website doesn’t show Ric as one of the brands they represent.

I found a thread from 2013 saying a new Australian distributor had been appointed but no mention of who that was.

Can anyone confirm who the current Australian distributor is?

Thanks!

Well after doing some digging myself, I did find that CMI Music are indeed the current distributor. They have limited stock that has been sent to dealers, including:

Scarlett Music
Derringers Music
Guitar Factory Parramatta
Turramurra Music Centre
KC's Rock Shop '

Hope this helps someone if they end up asking the same questions as me.

Hi Simon,

Add Macron Music near Gosford. I'm waiting on a delivery of spares to CMI to get a replacement truss rod set for my 330.

(Whistles, rocks back and forth on heels, sucks teeth, looks around at the scenery, cough .... repeat)

Taking a while.

Andrew, you're more patient that I am.

I wanted to order a 381v69 for my upcoming 40th but preferred to get it closer to that milestone than my 50th, so ordered one in the USA and sent to a family member there.
