Rickenbacker prices
Why are the vintage series, C series etc more expensive than standard series? Because construction, because vintage tuners, because vintage pickups...

Two reasons:
1. They are exact reproductions of archaic guitars. If Ford were to make a 1966 Mustang today, it would no doubt cost more than their 2019 Mustang. The exacting details in trying to reproduce something from long ago, I suppose, jacks up the cost.
2. Something called a "Beatles Tax" is applied to the C series price. Ric isn't the only one that does that. Gretsch, Hofner, Epiphone...if a Beatle played that model, add a Beatles Tax to the price.
