iiipopes or Freeway Switch?
Has anyone with a 3-pickup Ric tried the Freeway Switch? If so, what's the verdict?

What's a freeway switch?
Re: iiipopes or Freeway Switch?
I used the Freeway v.2 on my mod of a 3-pickup 350 Liverpool. I wired it as a typical 3-way N/ N+B /B, and can then add the middle pickup to those combos using the other three positions. So you get N+M/ N+B+M /B+M.
I also used push-pulls to get phase and series/parallel options. Extremely versatile!

Wow! That is some MOD!
I've stuck with a simple Freeway on all my 3-pup Rics. So I have the "Les Paul" scheme on one side and the "Strat" scheme on the other. I find this a much better solution than using Push-Pulls to obtain the same functions. My only question is how long will they last?
Thanks for your reply.

I'm hoping by now you've taken a moment and googled "Freeway Switch".Korladis wrote:What's a freeway switch?
