a fine rick-o-sound box

Post by jacolyte »

hi, guys,

after 40 years of playing, i've finally gotten around to trying out rick-o-sound and i wanted to share a tip about the splitter box i found.

i came across this switchcraft SC600 splitter box on sweetwater and it's perfect for the task. all-metal, no crosstalk between tip and ring, switchcraft jacks - a quality product. (it's actually two identical splitters built into the one box.) i recommend it without hesitation.

(p.s. do NOT waste your time and money on HOSA cable splitters - i went through no fewer than four of them and every single one had outrageous bleed-through between the tip and ring. complete garbage product.)

Thanks for the tip.

I went through a phase of using various Hosa split cables, male, female...oh, it was a pain and a mess. This box seems like convenient option and it is cheap enough to maybe give it a go.
