Rickenbacker 450 vs 620 differences
Are there differences between the body of the 450 compared with the 620 body? I know the pickguard is different but I don't know if both have the same body or not.

Same body....a 450 fits into a 620 case just fine. The pickups and bridge on a 620 sit on top of the neck portion of the body (not recessed into the body, as is the case with 450s) so the fret board / neck is relatively elevated on a 620 to account for that difference.

The 450 is a great player and I very much regret letting my 450/12 go.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

The other difference is the tailpiece/bridge configuration.
