Rickenbacker Registry Returns

Post by admin »

Thanks to the kind assistance of Kendall Jaeger, Kris Lyons, Tony Cabibi and Joey Vasco several thousand registrations will be added to the Rickenbacker Registry over the next few months. I am grateful for their willingness to help and the gentle pushes from Forum members that pulled me kicking and screaming from my hammock!

I am hoping that this topic area will be used to provide progress reports and to respond to questions relating to the Registry.

I would be most interested in receiving new registrations if you have not registered your instruments before. Added to this project is an autoresponder which will let you know that your information has reached the Rickenbacker Registry and will be added to the queue.

A special thanks goes to Mark (Bails) Bailey for his recent modification of the Registration Form. Thanks Mark.

Peter: If we tried to register instruments during the 'dormant' years, will those show up in the new Registry?

Yes Randy. These registrations were saved and are now being entered. You will be able to see whether your instruments are there when the updates are added.

I won't register until there is a color listed for my CS besides "other"!

Two more in the for the databass!

How do you handle it when an instrument changes hands and the new owner submits a new registration for one that exists in the database?

Peter,

I've sent you a few e-mails, but have not received a response.

Are they getting through?

Ray: Serials will be checked for duplicates and an inquiry will be sent out to those who register and already registered instrument.

That's a good system then.

I'll just leave off the two I've sold this year, and let the new owners decide if they want to participate.

Thanks!

Peter,

I MUST have something wrong on this end. I've only received one Email prior to tonight.

I will try again from my Ebay account.
