United States Top Ten List from the Register

Post by admin »

  • California 399 16.4%
    New York 138 5.67%
    Texas 123 5.06%
    Ohio 122 5.01%
    Illinois 115 4.73%
    North Carolina 111 4.56%
    New Jersey 108 4.44%
    Pennsylvania 107 4.4%
    Florida 106 4.36%
    Georgia 91 3.74%
I am surprised to see some of the smaller states solidly in place in the top ten of Rickenbacker Registrations. One surprise to me is the very large lead of California over New York. Before the Register, I would have expected New York to have been closer to the total for California. Of course, that the Factory is in California doesn't hurt either.

Hmmm,

I wonder, is there any relationship between the number of dealers vs. the amount of guitars in each state?

All I can say is, Florida is almost a RIC "no man's land" as far as dealers are concerned. Sam Ash being the only one worth mention, I wish there were some viable dealers here in Florida. :(

Hard to believe that Georgia came in at number 10. We only have three Rick dealers here. Six months ago, there was only one! (In Savannah)

Having a RIC dealer in the area that you lived mattered much more, years ago. Now you can have any USA dealer ship a Rick to anywhere else in the USA.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
