So there are more then 30,000 Rickenbackers in the register now! Seems like a good excuse for a party!

this register item http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... hp?id=2836 needs to be edited as it's been dependably butchered...

Gil or Peter will need to mark that as butchered as it is not a collected item.... Odd SN by the way. Not hard to figure out a partial though as RIC only made the DCM 4003s in week 11 of 2007. So it is 07115xx or 07114xx

Do you have the details of what happened to it? An eBay link to the butchered carcass perhaps?

Most recent butchered RIC from the NJ Butcher (Mr Dependable) seems to be a 2007 Blue burst 650 C, which I just updated in the register. He bought it on eBay from a seller in Berkeley CA for $757.

That dependable butcher has a jackplate listed with that number on it; several RIC basses are listed, also a 360 in Blue

Yes - they are all in the register marked as "butchered"

The "07" as the SN is clearly an error - a partial giving the year and nothing else. As I say it is certainly week 11.

the jackplate the dependable butcher uses as generic image, I think?

Yes he uses the same images over and over. Every once and a while does post the actual jackplate he is selling, but it is rare,

A 350 v63 butchered in 2010 is where that Jackplate came from...

Not sure it's the right place, but some news about "my" 650D. It's still alive and kicking (saw it less than 2 weeks ago) but moved to Voronezh (Russian Federation), to an old friend of mine. It's in good hands, i promise. That's life, and my friend, being a musician, definitely needs this electric guitar much more than i do (well, he had none and gave me his acoustic "with history and stories" in exchange although i never asked for that :) ) .

Thanks for the update Sheena.

Not that something is being done about it. Still more pictures of carcass bodies going into the register,
Another one yesterday.

Perchance they are still stored somewhere on the server instead of just overwritten?

Perhaps Gil can correct me, but I believe once the images are deleted they are gone forever... Unless someone backed them up.
