Can anyone tell me how to register my Ricky 3000

Hi there, could anyone please tell me how to register my Ricky 3000 onto the Rickenbacker Register page please?

Just send a private message to admin, asking Pete to open up the record for your serial number (assuming it's already in the registry).

Kev - you have an account I see.. That's a good start.

Making sure you are logged in, click the "Rickenbacker register" tab on the right - just below terms of use.

Once you are on the register page click "add a new record".


You will get a menu that asks for details about the instrument.

Start with the Serial number.

On a 3000 that will be on the metal plate where the neck joins the body at the back.

The serial number will be 2 LETTERS and at least three numbers.

Feed those in first.

Leave the date above the SN blank - the register will fill that in for you.

Look at these other 3000s in the register to get the details correct on the finish.

Brown and walnut tends to be entered as the same finish...

Add some images of the guitar if you can.

Any problems send Peter (admin) or Gil (gibsonlp) a private message and they will sort it for you!

If the instrument is already in the register - either as a "collected item" from when it last sold on Ebay or Craigslist - or when a previous owner registered it - then you will need to claim the entry as yours. Peter or Gil will do that for you also.

Thanks everyone, my 3000 is already registered in Vermont it's serial number PD 2994. I brought it from music store live the other year. I also have a 3001 serial number RJ 5924 that I would like to add.
I am based in the UK

So you will need to get Gil or Peter to register them to your account before you can edit the listing.
