Hi everybody, just received serial # 0033862 (German ebay purchase). This is not my first Ric, I used to own a 325 back in the early 1990s but later sold it - I'm sort of a big guy, and frankly, the tiny short-scale guitar looked a bit out of place on me. The 381 is a much better fit
Pics from the auction:

Looks good to me! Sound, I have yet to try once I get home and plug'er in. But I'm confident I'm gonna be just fine
BTW, the previous owner already registered that guitar (item 34903) as a collected item. From here on out it will be anything but, I will free her from the blue velvet cage and expose her to some serious picking!

Re: 381/12V69 FG in Germany
I just found out from the previous owner that they bought the guitar in 2013 off a vintage dealership in Switzerland (www.bj-music.ch - maybe not the most fortunate choice of acronym )
The guitar looks virtually unplayed, the previous owner had to resell it due to a serious heart condition that forced him to stop playing.

I am sure the music shop owner always keeps his head up and is on the ball (when it comes to fine instruments).HorseMountain wrote:I just found out from the previous owner that they bought the guitar in 2013 off a vintage dealership in Switzerland (http://www.bj-music.ch - maybe not the most fortunate choice of acronym )

I had a blueburst 381/12 for quite a while and loved it. I think you're going to enjoy that guitar. Plus they are so beautiful. And you're 381/12 has really great wood. Beauty. Nice find. Enjoy.
