60's Jackplate on Ebay

I was thinking that the register and/or the forum might want to be aware of this detached FCxxx jackplate, since I guess it would be yummy for a forger.

I would be at least a little bit more wary if I was offered, say, a -66 4001, not in the register, with FC jackplate.

Am I going too far/being too paranoid here? :)

Well, since they have covered the actual number, there's not a lot that can be done. If we knew the full number we could enter it as "butchered," but without it, well...

This isn't it, but I'm always on the lookout for the original jackplate for one of my Ricks, and I know who would have swapped it out...

No way to know for sure, but it is perhaps this one. FC 803.

I almost had this happen to me when PW "accidentally" put the wrong jackplate on a restoration. Luckily I managed to get it back. Good luck Ash!
