hey guys i was wondering if there was a way to make my 650c with HB-1's sound brighter like a highgain or a toaster less muddy and bass like what if i took out the capacitors would that work if not is there any thing i can do short of changing the pickups?

Changing the volume pots to 500k and the tone to 1M pots would brighten them up.

You'll never get those to be totally like the single coils because the amount of wire on the humbucker, and also the fact that there are two coils sensing the string and some cancellation occurs. They are already quite bright for a humbucker anyway.
