They all used Rickenbackers? took part in the same show? played in the same style? there's one person who had something to do with all of them?

Sheen: I admire your determinism and the narrowing-down strategy. But none of these would be in the right direction. You would have been great on "What's My Line."

Primary as in prime (1,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29, etc..)?

The Byrds lost a guitar while playing in Springfield, Illinois, during a dust storm. Thus, the Byrds were Searchers for a lost guitar in Dusty Springfield ... Image

Possibl they each recorded a Jackie De Shannon song (The Searchers and The Byrds definitely did). I'll have to look up a Dusty Springfield Discography.

Thanks Roy. This was not the numerical association that I had in mind. Part one is a numbers game but not the one that you have identified. Part two speaks to a particular time.
