How many times did the Searchers appear on Shindig and the Ed Sullivan Show on American television? As many times as the DC5? Just wondering?

Ed,

Sullivan-just once, in Spring/early summer '64. Opened show (as I recall) w/"needles and Pins". Closed it w/ "Ain't That Just Like Me"

They came late to Shindig- around "Love Potion #9". They taped enough stuff for 3 or 4 appear-
ances, including one w/ "High Heel Sneakers".

They also did the Brit segment w/ Brian Epstein once-"What Have They Done to the Rain":Steve Allen-"When You Walk in the Room", and I think the Tonight Show, but I'm not sure, and don't remember what they sang.

Speaking of Searcher appearances, I remember the Searchers on "The Red Skelton Show" singing
"What Have They Done to The Rain".
