Addstring Extra string

I have been developing an interest in the idea of a 7 string acoustic much like the martin d7, but I was not sure about taking the gamble on one in case I didn't gel with it.

But came across this thing

Such a simple idea, have ordered one and it should arrive in a few days. Going to fit it to my yammy fg750 and see how it goes!

Any you guys came across this little device before?

Pretty cool idea. Would one doubled corse make that much of a difference? Lots of plastic. I can see that flying around the room.

It will be interesting to hear in the flesh. Youtube only offers half the experience when your listening to others playing. It looks versatile in the that you can string it the Ric way with the octave on the other side.

If its nae very good then al just punt it on ebay.
