Wanted: acoustic guitar recommendations

Post by scoobster28 »

My cheap starter acoustic guitar is ready for a replacement, so I am in the market for a new acoustic guitar. It needs to have a built-in pick up as I will likely be using it in our church's band on occasion, and it also has to sound good unamplified. I prefer dreadnaught shaped guitars. My budget is $800. I plan to go to a larger guitar store in a couple of weeks but due to the pandemic don't want to spend a lot of time in there, so a short list of possible guitars to explore/try would be helpful.

Can anyone recommend a good mid-price acoustic guitar with built-in electronics? Thanks.

Check out The Gear Page. You'll find a ton of threads like this already there and lots of good info. WOn't even have to post your own thread to find out, I bet. I have a Guild I like and have also owned a Taylor 2xx CE series (10-15 years ago) that I liked.
