OK, a quick & easy one. The performance isn't very good, but I blame my collaborator Isabel for that.

Perhaps it would be useful to explain the process of recording these clips with a web cam. I don't have a web cam as of yet, but I (and probably others) would probably be willing to have a go if I knew how you guys record them and put these great clips on the forum.

It would probably be helpful to gain an understanding of some of the hardware and software technical requirements too.

Well, I have an iMac, so it is ridiculously easy.
1. Plug in guitar (mAudio usb interface)
2. Start iMovie application
3. Start recording.
4. Stop recording when I screw up.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 as necessary.
6. Add title in iMovie
7. Use 'Share with Garageband' tab.
8. In Garageband, tweak as necessary to achieve a decent sound, output level, etc.
9. Save as .mov
10. Open photobucket account & upload file
11. Link to photobucket file in this fine, fine thread.
12. Kiss dignity good-bye.

There you have it. My very own 12-step program. :D

Step 12 (for you anyway Greg) is to actually sound and look really cool playing a 330.

I wonder if Scott records on a PC with MS Windows. Those instructions would be helpful to me.

Edit: I see he posted instructions already. Thanks Scott.

Not only is the web cam fun for doing this sort of thing as you know Brian you can use it for free video calling to loved ones abroad.i use the webcam on MSN to talk free to my sisiter that lives in perth Oz.which is great cause seeing someone and talking to them is a wonderful thing when so many miles are between you.
