Again, for those who have asked, you can now order multiple copies of CD2 through the
RickResource Products Order Page.

I'm hoping mine arrives in the mail long before I take off for Christmas on the 19th.

Come to think of it, we should have done a RickenChristmas album. I think the Rickenbacker sound goes great with Christmas and the holidays. Those old songs are well beyond copyright protection, aren't they? Break out the Ricks and the sleigh bells and let's get to work for next holiday season.

BTW, I am blown away by how fast this thing was turned around. Based on how long RRF1 took, I figured this was way too much work to pull together - obviously we have a very high level of commitment. The artwork looks way too cool. Can't wait to hear it.

Steve: Your comments are appreciated. We have done our best to avoid pitfalls of the past. We are older and I hope wiser and have learned a few mistakes we made the first time around. We will not rest until the deliveries are complete.

Steve, I love the RickenChristmas album idea! I absolutely love playing Christmas music on my Ric 12-strings. If such a project were to happen, I would gladly contribute a few songs, and I would buy a few copies of the CD for sure! :D

Heck, we could just write our own Christmas/Holiday tunes.

Thanks for the props, guys. This was a fun project to do. And join me in thanking our very own lovely and talented cover model Tony Matura for wearing his 1967 370 OS Mapleglo like a true pro. "Strike a pose!" And word on the street has it that he WILL do nudes (for the right price, of course.)

Just an update on the shipping time for RRF Vol.2. Ballpark figure has us looking at the 2nd week of December. There was only ONE shipping MIA out of the 95 RRF 1 CDs that were shipped out earlier this year. The USPS first class method worked pretty well for the most part, but for those who want to bump up their shipping method to include a signature confirmation, add an extra $5 to the flat fee of $12

* * * THIS ADDITIONAL SHIPPING OPTION IS NOT MANDATORY * * *

It's just a safeguard for those who want the extra assurance.

Then that would bring us to zero remaining.

I guess that's how these compilations are, somewhat ephemeral in nature, in one year and then who's next. Hmm.

(disappointment to my delusions of grandeur)

I had pictured a sort of never ending cornucopia of RRF music for all future generations. I'll need a cup of tea now. :)
