R.I.P. Clarence Clemons

Post by winston »

Unfortunately Clarence passed away today. He was regarded as one of, if not the very best saxophone player in the world.

R.I.P. Clarence. I for one, will mourn your passing. You put so much soul into your playing. I could never forget your incredible body of work.

A sad day on Tenth Avenue, and all over the musical world. Nobody played like the Big Man.

A man with a talent that most can only dream of. May he rest in peace.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Very sad. I saw him play with Alvin Lee I think '94 in SF. He left everyone with a smile on their face that night.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
