We got any bluegrass fans on this board?
I like a little bluegrass. Sometimes, when I'm feeling low, I put on Sirius XM radio's "Bluegrass Junction" channel, always perks me up. Really don't know who the king of bluegrass is or anything like that, so throw out some names, maybe some CDs to get me started!
Bluegrass!

I play Banjo too, mostly because of Scruggs.
Re: Bluegrass!
Grew up on this music and both sides of my family are from the same place as Ralph & Carter Stanley - Clintwood, in Dickenson County, VA. My eldest uncle was married to Ralph and Carter's second cousin, Francis Stanley, who recently passed. I run into Ralph now and then when I head south to see my relatives as the town has just over 1200 people - really small place!
As for music:
Kentucky Colonels or anything with Clarence White
Stanley Brothers
Bill Monroe
Mac Wiseman
Jim & Jesse
Seldom Scene
Country Gentlemen
Flatt & Scruggs
Also like Old Time music quite a lot, especially Uncle Dave Macon, Dock Boggs & Hobart Smith - love that old time banjo!
