Wahi music--I am coming, I am here!
Here are several songs, a couple with my Rickenbackers Rusticglo 330 (Feathers and Staff),
and I believe my Goldenglo 330, (The Lark)...
The other songs use varied guitars...

I checked out 'Welcome' and 'The Lark.' Cool surf vibe. I never knew the Indians rode longboards. I guess I should know better than to think that us white folks did it first.

Mr. Walker,
I never thought of them with a surf sound, as much as I like surf. I heard more of a cow-punk drive, but I'll take your comments as a plus! I've got a heck of a mixture roaming these bones, white up to at least my thighs! Good stuff...

I listened to the two you list and a couple of others - neat little groove you all have going there. Enjoyed it very much.

Mr. Ram,
Appreciation friend...I did have several grooves in mind before I ever hit a lick, or put pen to paper. Seeing or hearing the bulk of the finished product is key for me before I indulge...

Mr. JPS,
I've been around, but not as much in this forum. There has also been a dearth in my music writing, which is about to change. Thanks for listening, The Natives Have Spoken...

Ten new songs on the Wahi page, several with my Rickenbackers, including "The Ghost and the Staircase" and "Sunshine Smiles on a Fading Face." Click 'music page,' then 'full.' Thanks for giving a listen...
From "I Am" to "The Staircase" are all new.

I checked out 'The Ghost And The Staircase.' Nice job capturing a haunting, sort of lonely vibe. Really like the vocal melodies. Interesting delay effect without using delay. And thanks for revealing the bass tone at the end! I was wondering where that flange effect was coming from.

Re: Wahi music--I am coming, I am here!
Thanks for the response and the listening Mr. Walker. I haven't been to this post in quite a while. Here are 5 newer songs, two or three recorded with my Rickenbacker 330s.
"The Pendleton Recital" and "The Rise of Dawn--Ra'o," were both done with Rickenbackers. Ra'o probably won't sound "Rick-ish" at all, but that was the intent. I wanted Rick to be unrecognizable. The other new songs are "The Drunkard's Progress," "The Debt" and "One Cold Quarter." I don't remember which of these I used a Rick. Thanks for taking a moment...turn up the bass!

"Turn up the bass." Always good advice!
Nice driving feel on these new ones, Joe. Good energy. The drums sound a little stiff, though. Maybe open the hi-hat a little in some places? More crash action?

I really liked the feel of this stuff.
My favourite track would be 'The Debt'.
Good work.

Re: Wahi music--I am coming, I am here!
Thanks Mr. Bob,
I loaded an alternate version of "The Rise of Dawn--Ra'o" to my soundclick, more guitars and changed vocals. The singing on this one was so subtle it ended up being difficult. I have "perfect take-itis" severely, but had to overlook my condition on these vocals; they were tough. Singing in the bathroom to obtain natural reverb helped a bit. Depending on any listener's speaker placement, the first guitar after the bass is a Minarik Lotus. The second guitar, and those sounds the rest of the way, is one of my Rickenbacker 330s. Again, the intent was to "not" sound Rick-ish on this particular song. I wanted it to surprise...thanks to those taking a moment! Wahi

Re: Wahi music--I am coming, I am here!
Two new songs, "The Bell Strikes Mice," and "Caught and Tagged"; again, Rickenbacker unrecognizable, as of late. I've done previous work on my Wahi page with several songs that utilize my 330s in obvious fashion, "The Lark," and "Feathers and Staff" to name a couple.
