OK...If you've got an opinion, I'd like to hear it.
I'm in the market for a pair of powered monitors that will serve two purposes; studio mixing and external audio source for my keyboard (Yamaha MO8).
I've been doing a little research and found the following to be in the price range I'm looking at:
http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/pr ... sku=482826
http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/pr ... sku=485385
My plan is to go and A-B everything that makes the final cut.
Does anyone have any thoughts, either on these two, or something else I should be looking at in this price range?

Re: Calling all Opinions!
Rokit 6's worked great for me (for the price). I found the bass to be slightly weak/missing. Only noticed it when comparing mixes on other speakers. Once I learned to compensate, everything was good. I would still have them but they lost a valiant battle to a three year old Godzilla doing a number on my studio gear.

Re: Calling all Opinions!
The KRK brand seems to a favorite among many studios, if it were my call that would be it. The studio we are currently doing some demos at use KRKs and they sounded great; certainly a subwoofer helps these smaller speakers, but if used as nearfields they do okay.
