New album featuring a 360

Post by Rickissippi »

Ok, my band's final product is in. Don't think this violates them (but I will gladly remove this, if it indeed does), so here is a link to one of the songs off our album:

This is one with a solo I played on the neck p'up through a 60s Valco Supro. That part starts about 1:23 or so. Got kind of a Grant Green tone out of it, in the words of my drummer. We put a ribbon mic in front of the amp for this one. No pedals.

You can listen to this and the whole album for free, and I'm honestly not trying to get any purchases out of this post - I just want to share my band's music with y'all. Still amazed I got that tone from a Rick - what an amazingly versatile guitar. She remains my No. 1, and she's all over this record. In fact, I think I used her at least once on each of the 14 songs.

More on my band here, if you're interested: http://www.thechurchkeys.com

Really good -- are you getting air play? I'd think Sirius would pick it up.
