'A Pin to See The Peepshow' is a favourite song of mine and I'm glad I finally have a decent recording of it.
In London in 1923 Edith Thompson and Freddy Bywaters were found guilty and executed for the murder of Edith's husband Percy.
This controversial murder case is the subject of the song.
The recording is a little heavier than my usual stuff, but I hope some of you like it. As usual, the only electric guitar used is my Rickenbaker 330.
As always, all feedback is most welcome.
Thanks for listening.
'A Pin To See The Peepshow' is my latest! Hope you like it.

Very cool.
I have long been fascinated by the Edith Thompson and Freddy Bywaters case.
Hitchcock wanted to make a film about it in the 1930s.
The hangman who executed Thompson quit afterwards. It was a gruesome execution.

Me too, I've always been fascinated by that case. And so it's a song I feel strongly about and am quite proud of. Nice to hear from someone else who shares my interest.
From what I understand Edith Thompson's father was a dance teacher in the evenings and Hitchcock was a pupil. Hitchcock was a personal friend of Edith's sister Avis until her death in the 70s. Although he was very keen to make a film of the Thompson Bywaters case, he was more concerned with not upsetting Avis.
