Has anybody seen this?

I really liked it.. a couple of great performances. If there is any resemblance to how it really was at the beginning, its a wonder John got anybody to play with him.
Nowhere Boy
Re: Nowhere Boy
Finally got to see it yesterday from Netflix. Great acting and well done. It wasn't made to be a documentary. What a wonderful time in history for rock 'n' roll musicians. I was in Liverpool summer 2009 and that helped me to really relate, even though I don't know where Nowhere Boy's scenes were actually filmed.

Re: Nowhere Boy
I was impressed by the settings and the overall "feel". As far as I can tell, they used the real Mendips for some scenes, and most of the street scenes and interiors had a feeling evocative of the British films of that period. Color made it a bonus, as films of that period were mostly in B&W.
