Evan,

You are right and I stand corrected. The New Zealand/Australia mistake is entirely mine and for that I apologize. My Roommate in college was from Australia and he turned me on to the Split Enz (as well as some other groups), and I was confused.

You are also correct about Neil Finn and Paul Hester forming the other band, with Tim joining later.

So I would respectfully re-submit the question as:

"After the New Zealand band, Split Enz, broke up, Brothers Neil and Tim Finn would later play together again in the band:"

I don't know if I can correct it in the test itself at this point but maybe a moderator can.

No need to apologise - I was just letting my pedantic streak out for a run... and hoping to get in before any indignant kiwis...

Just "Gen Y" enough to not care about putting up a test online for us!

8. – Which of the following Heavy Metal bands did NOT form in Los Angeles area?

10. – Which of the following bands was not from Scotland?

****(C)**** - The Waterboys***This one was unintentionally tricky, I was questioned about the Waterboys so I checked Wikipedia and got this:

“The Waterboys are a Scottish band formed in 1983 by Mike Scott. The band's membership, past and present, has been composed mainly of musicians from Scotland, Ireland and England. Edinburgh, London, Dublin, Spiddal, New York, and Findhorn have all served as homes for the group. The band has played in a number of different styles, but their music is a mix of Celtic folk music with rock and roll.”

11. – Legendary rocker, Ronnie James Dio, sang in all of these bands except:
A – Deep Purple

And lastly, 12. – Which of the following Seattle bands did not start off on the Sub Pop label?
C – Alice in Chains (Columbia Records)
