Hmm, I guess I'm an Über Techno-Geek. I'll say, "It depends." For generally related stuff, tab. For other things, window. Then there's times I just stay with the old one and move on from there...

I go for tab, usually. Actually liked the soft drink back in the day. Heaven only knows why. Probably explains a lot.

I use Firefox with Tab Mix Plus - it's set to one browser window, plus anything outside the site I'm on loads in a new tab, no matter what!

I don't like how IE9 URL bar and tabs are positioned and their look!
