I DID miss that post! Nice! I had heard apocryphal tales that these were much better for guitar than bass,but I've never gotten the opportunity to test one. There is a fellow here in Brookings that used to work at a Fender tube amp factory,who has a restored one in beautiful shape (and not for sale). Very cool,Jeffrey!

The tales are usually about tweed era Bassman amps, but the Concert Amp is not far removed in lineage or concept. These won't work well for high volume situations, but for recording, coffeehouse level type gigs they are real nice.
