Help identify a song

Post by idealassets »

I heard a particular song, the last time was yesterday on FM radio. They don't announce the artists as much like they used to. (I hate that) I am sorry to ask, but perhaps this is the right place to get the song name and artist.

It has a somewhat "bo-didley" drum beat, slightly slower tempo than "Who Do You Love", some reverb on the guitar. The guitar sounds perhaps like a Stratocaster, and there may be some light whammy bar in there. Sounds somewhat like Buckingham-Nicks, perhaps a little indie. The lyrics are something like "Ooh Ooh, my precious love" or sweet love, or something similar.

If you know this song please let me know who it is, or who you think it could be. I would love to do a duet with a local lady vocalist for this song.

Thank you!

Call the radio station and give them the date and approximate broadcast time. They can read you the playlist/log from that time. Tom

Good thought, thanks, it might still be do-able tomorrow.

Good luck. BTW, does your local lady vocalist sound anything like a young Stevie Nicks?

Yes, but she can sound like a number of different vocalists, and plays keyboards. Often she will play as a solo act.

This is a real long shot, but if her name is Terri and she lives in Connecticut, I was in a band with her many years ago.... Same lady?

If so, it would be another amazing Twilight Zone moment in a recent series. I just ran into a guitarist from the same band, at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA........ I hadn't seen him for over 33 years....
