Happy Canada Day!

Post by johnhall »

Okay, it's still a few hours away but since I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia tonight and through the week, thought maybe I should be the first to wish Canada Happy Birthday!

Now, if it would only stop raining for awhile . . .

Thanks for thinking of us John. It's not raining here in BC by the way. It's currently 31C and sunny where I am. 8)

Many years ago was up at Niagara Falls (Canadian side of course) for Canada they lit up the falls and had fireworks - very cool! Happy Canada Day to all in the Great White North (hit it Bob & Doug and Getty?)!

I'll add a "Happy Canada Day" to our Canadian friends down South too!
:D

Hey, Ottawa, and even Fredericton are South of me...

I drive South for the two closest border crossings, Detroit/Windsor. The joint Freedom Festival fireworks over the river were last Monday.

As a Canuck RIC player my thanks... Canada is 146 today - which is a ripe old age I think.. :D

Enjoy Halifax! I played a great gig at a bar on the historical wharf called THE LOWER DECK. It's the kind of place where if they like you they throw beer at you - (if they don't like you they just throw the bottle!) :P :P

If you get the chance ask one of the locals to teach you the chorus of BARRETT'S PRIVATEERS...

It is raining here in Ontario too... lol
