Nice geet-are!

Yes, thanks for the pics. I also own one of these and it has a great sound and the neck is fast like an electric. Great looking RIC acoustic. You have done justice to this wonderful Model 730S Shiloh.

Re: 730 Shiloh
Beautifull, I wondering if The sound is similar to a Martin guitar
Re: 730 Shiloh
I wouldn't compare my 730S to a Martin. But then again, I've never owned a Martin and have played very few.tristanbacker wrote:Beautifull, I wondering if The sound is similar to a Martin guitar

Yes, Martins are different. The RIC has it's own unique and very full sound.

Re: 730 Shiloh
Yes but even with Rosewood?
Re: 730 Shiloh
Lots of guitars are made with rosewood B&S and spruce top and sound nothing like a Martin; even various Martins sound different from each other. Not to mention all the clones out there (Huss & Dalton, Collings, etc.).

I have nothing to add. I am drooling so much that I think I am frying out my keyboard.
Re: 730 Shiloh
Bracing patterns and materials/ shape do play a very important roll along with the thickness of the top in creating a desired tone. A great luthier is a member of the forum who is intimately familiar with Martin style guitars, Jim Merrill. He would be an excellent source for information on this but now we are getting off-topic.tristanbacker wrote:You say The secret is in The internal braces Jeff?

Role works, too! But Rock & Roll is better.jps wrote:Bracing patterns and materials/ shape do play a very important roll
