Every time I read about this in VG I want to go, seems like a really great show with an amazing bunch of independent, fabulous luthiers showing their instruments. Some day.

One day is never enough time. I usually need two of the three days. Not big real estate wise, just a lot of things to see and luthiers to talk to. I learn a ton of new stuff every year, and see some pretty innovative things.
Plus the International Jazz Festival is on at the same time, with two of the main stages right outside the front door of the Hyatt, where the MGS is held. Walked out of the MGS one year onto a wet rainy day and saw Stevie Wonder playing the main stage.
