Postby (godber) » Wed Aug 24, 2011 1:44 pm

Graham's huge and wonderful collection is featured in this months Guitar & Bass magazine in a massive six page drool inducing spread.

Worth buying despite the pictures of the man himself

Well done sir!

The best Rickenbacker collection outside the Rickenbacker family

No, pretty sure Graham's is the best. :D

Well, Adolph Rickenbacker was apparently born Rickenbacher and changed the spelling of his name at some point. But I doubt that's what the magazine staff were thinking ...

No, normally not! Big mistake in writing. As we know the real Name Rickenbacher was changed into Rickenbacker long time ago. Since it is on the instruments it is used with a "k" when talking about.

The editors probably only know how to spell the F-Word: Fender

Anyway, will be interesting to see the collection!

I agree. The first rule of a writer is to do your homework (check your facts) and the second is to check your source and reference material until you can practically recite it.

I just figured it was one of those British English spelling things like cheque vs. check, etc.
