Pearl White 330 SP ready to ship to the UK

:D :D :D

...ready to ship????? That upper pickguard in the picture is for a 24 fret Rick not a 21 and I thought they would be having an R rather than trapeze?? Would be surprised if they let them out of the door like this.....

That headstock design is interesting, indeed... Image

good point John....I know the more religious types around here dont like any mention to be made of the heretical Shaftesbury nameplate, but I just dug mine out and I'd say the headstock is a more accurate shape for a 1997 reissue than the Pearl White pictured (still wrong of course, but still more accurate!) BTW my intention here is not to prompt the usual pointless "we hate copies" responses....so please dont bother

This is a 360/12C63 neck without the slots, SAME neck and body construction, apart from binding and F soundhole, that was done at the same time as Petty's guitars (which they were quite happy with btw). The headstock is not as large as it looks in that picture, I'll post some better snapshots of it.

We used what gold plastic we had, 660, as the pickup spacing did not work with any other pickguards we have.

*Forgot to mention F soundhole

Many thanks for clarifying that Ben...there had already been some speculation it was a C63 headstock so good to have confirmation of that. I'm sure it will look just fine in the flesh... :D

Check out Sound Effects Face book page for a pile of pics of the new Pearl White 1997s...

Here are a couple as a taster!

Congrats to you lucky UK buyers...

I wonder how long it will take Olivia's to reimport one and what it will be worth in the USA - 5K at least yes?
