Ruby Hits The UK

Just got our first bunch of Ruby basses in, so I thought I'd share some pictures. Before anyone asks, all sold I'm afraid.

And the spookiest thing happened. A older couple came in yesterday and the gentleman was looking for a shorter scale bass as he was getting a bit arthritic and struggling with his Fender. We showed him some Hofner basses, and his wife said: " I don't suppose you have any in ruby do you as its a present for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary.....nobody has ever asked me for a Ruby guitar before and this was on the day our first Ruby basses arrived!

Beautiful! They are stunning. That's a great story, really, who asks for a Ruby bass?! 8)

A heart-warming story. For those looking for one I guess it is goodbye Ruby Tuesday for now. Kira will have to wait for her Ruby bass, unless ...

330 6 strings in Ruby arriving next week.... yummy yummy yummy - will post some pics when they arrive :D

Great pics Tim! And nice to see another family grouping before they head their separate ways. :D

The Fireglo shading on the C63s looks darker than the previous versions - would you say that's true "in the flesh" or is it a trick of the light?

The Fireglo shading on the C63s looks darker than the previous versions - would you say that's true "in the flesh" or is it a trick of the light?
It is quite red/dark - although maybe its an illusion as they are set against the Ruby. Let me take another peek.....back in a mo

.....nope - they are deffo darker :-)
