I'm kicking myself for missing the first one now, Peter. I will have to write to the paper to see if there's any way of getting hold of one. I'd like to put them in a display case if I manage to get the whole collection.

A treble Beatles treat this Sunday ....

First up, my regular mug: this week it's "Help" ....



Second, the old dear at the local news agent's says she can order me the one mug I missed. Yeeehaw!

Then to top it all off, the mother-in-law who is visiting at the moment but we won't see before Xmas, presented me with my presents for this year ...

This week was "A Hard Day's Night" ...

I added "Beatles For Sale" to the collection yesterday and the nice lady at the newsagents is ordering the elusive first mug which I missed.

Two new mugs this week!

Apparently there were no more of the first mug available for order direct from the newspaper but the nice lady at the newsagents rang round some of the other shops in the area and one guy still had it! How cool is that!
It turns out that it was Abbey Road. This week's is Sgt. Peppers.
So, I now have a full set of the 11 which have already been on sale and just two more mugs to collect (Yellow Submarine & Magical Mystery Tour).

Very nice collection, Richard! I read about it in El País, and I have seen a couple of the mugs. Very pretty, and looks like the quality's good...
