Rickenbackers for sale in Germany

Post by doctorno »

This thread is intended to post advice, where to get a Rickenbacker guitar or bass in Germany.

The following shops do occassionally have Rickenbacker guitars in stock
(of them Musik Produktiv seems to have a few guitars in stock right now):

Music Store Köln - http://www.musicstore.de/
Musik Produktiv Ibbenbüren - http://www.musik-produktiv.de/gitarre-b ... acker.aspx
Musik Schmidt Frankfurt - http://www.musik-schmidt.de/
Thomann Burgebrach - http://www.thomann.de/

Sometimes it is a good idea to order Rickenbacker guitars in England, here are two links:
http://www.petercooks.co.uk/
http://www.ricsrus.com/rickyhome.html

There are Rickenbacker guitars for sale on ebay in Germany as well. F. e. there is an Irish dealer who sells Rickenbacker guitars at good prices:

I was in the Cologne Music Store recently and indeed there was a 360/12 FG hanging on the wall, for 2.750 Euro, these days USD 3.700
Not the way to go for me....

Anna, what year and what finish is your 4001?
We love pictures of Rickenbackers. So if you have any, feel free to post them. :)
I also encourage you to register your 4001 in the registry of this site if you haven't already done so.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Dirk Witte in Holland (Amsterdam & Utrecht) (http://www.dirkwitte.nl/) has some Ricks - 6 + 12 strings + basses - in stock for reasonable prices. Get your caravans ready and take a trip to Holland !

holland is a nice country anyhow - not only because of the rickenbacker basses/guitars

unfortunately i haven't got any good pictures of my rickie, but if i take some good ones, i will post them of course :D

my rickenbacker 4001 is from 77 and is jetglo, so nothing really special, but the sound is awesome anyhow - all you rickenbacker players out there will know what i mean :D
i've already registered my rickenbacker bass, that's the only reason why i got to this forum ... but it's pretty nice here and i have already found a lot of helpful threads ...

greetings from germany

Wow! RickySounds actually has a Comstock 6 for sale and a couple of tempting "make me an offer" (gulp) acoustics as well. Don't see those too often.

*looks out of window* Well, where did they put the lovely landscape? I only see boring flatness

At least when I look the other way I see a Rickenbacker, Beatles related artwork etc. Much better

What's the general concensus, or opinion if concensus is lacking, among german Rick-players about online prices?
