Hi Peter, I don't see it as either bad news or a loss for "the community". You may have missed it, but the complete guitar was listed openly for sale for an extended period and nobody in the community put their hands in their pockets to buy it. Their theoretical loss is therefore your (and several other peoples) practical gain as I was able to provide a rare opportunity to access genuine C58 parts which, as you know, hardly ever come up for sale. I am glad you, and those other members of the community, were able to benefit from that opportunity. Ed

Yes indeed Eddie,
i am happy to have some nice parts. I think icatched the whole guitar if i hadnt had this particular model too. Just have a look on my avatar. i purchased it from a nice guy in Scotland about a year ago. Only negative thing is, that it has a broken neck pickup.
