Jacksons Rare Guitars Shuts Shop

Post by Chrome Aardvark »

Another victim of tough financial times, greed or just plain bad business management?

http://cxmagblog.com/2012/11/27/jackson ... questions/

http://www.guitargear.net.au/discussion ... ic=35225.0

I hope none of our forumites had a guitar on consignment with them.

With prices like theirs, I'm not surprised in the least.

Lots of dealers forget the whole part about how you need to move inventory to survive. :!:

Wow. What a tangled web. I wonder if the "Midnight Oil" 12 string 360F and 1993 were still there?

Absolutely right Collin.

If they are still there Graham, you'll be on it I'm sure!

They weren't for sale. They were just being stored there apparently.

Graham, there was lots of "stuff" stored in the upstairs vault. It really is a total mess, unfortunately.

The Midnight Oil 360F is being stored down at Sound Level in the band's lock-up. Apparently an exhibition about Midnight Oil is being organized and I hope the 360F will be part of it.

Have you seen the chart once 2009 and 2010 were added to it?
