After many years, I finally have my 360/12 Jetglo RickenbacKer.

I hope that in the near future some events related to Rick guitars and basses will be organized in Italy. Please inform me if any event will be held in Italy.

I would like just to make some brief considerations about my 360/12 Jetglo. I consider it one of the best guitar I've never played in my life. The sound is great, extremely versatile with a very wide spectrum for experimentation and new styles. I play mainly rhythm guitar and my personal original songs with my group: I do not play covers. I think that using this guitar just to play the Beatles songs (above all from "A hard days night") is a serious limit. The possibility to experiment given by the sound this guitar can provide (through the ric-o-sound, the high dinamic potentials of the high gain pickups, the variety of sounds using the 3rd controller, etc.) is extremely wide.
I think that this guitar (I use my Ric with an Egnater valve tweaker 40 combo) doesn't require many effects: its natural sound is enough in order to have a wide spectrum of tones. Bass and treble sounds are excellent: absolutely no need for chorus or reverb. I believe that the best your guitar (and amp) the less you need additional effects.
The guitar is very well built: high level for the details and finish.
Well, now I prefer to continue writing in Italian in order to better clarify some personal opinions to an eventual italian speaker audience.

Vedremo...

I have written in my last post that my secret dream was a Ric 660. Last week I have bought am incredible 2014 Rickenbacker 660/6 Fireglo! This is an excellent guitar: quality, finishing and sound are superb. This guitar is not so common in Italy, hard to find in shops, but I consider Ric 660/6 one of the best guitars I have played in my life.

Now I'm a proud owner of two Rickenbacker Sisters: a 360/12 Jetglo and this 660/6 Fireglo!
