"Wildflowers" vs "Damn the Torpedoes"

Post by JakeK »

Last night on Facebook, I chose "Damn the Torpedoes" as one of the 5 albums I'd be buried with. Now, I'm rethinking it. Should I have chosen "Wildflowers"? They are both two damn good albums.

Which one would you choose?

In the long run, I'd choose "Torpedoes", because it's raw, nostalgic, original Heartbreakers.

'Torpodeos.' 'Wildflowers' gets too sappy for me, and a lot of the songs are very similar. Plus, the band still had that raw energy on 'Torpedoes,' I think that's when they were at their best.

Definitely Torpedoes for me....great from beginning to end....

Wildflowers is a great release too, but I'm a bigger fan of the earlier releases (1st 5)

Damn The Torpedos, hands down. The range and the fire in the playing make it one of his best.
