The band planned one of these in 2005, now it's being released. Too cool.

Who's planning on buying "Live Anthology"? My best friend Max (who's inspired by Benmont Tench) and I are planning to go to Best Buy to get the Deluxe Edition.

Looks like a great collection of tunes :D 8) .... wonder how much Best Buy is going to hit us up for 5 CDs and 2 DVDs packaged with the poster and other promo goodies ??

When I bought the Clapton-Winwood "Madison Square Garden" Double CD and Double DVD with Promo materials it was about $77 or so.... I have a feeling this one will be more $$$

The listing (minus picture) at the Best Buy website had a selling price of $119 IIRC ...

I am so totally getting this set :D Looks like you get a career-long perspective on how they sounded live with lots of covers thrown in also.

What really is disappointing about this set is that "Makin' Some Noise", "Crawling Back to You", "You Wreck Me" and "You Don't Know How It Feels" are not featured on this set.

"Makin' Some Noise" was one of the standout tracks, in my opinion, on the VHS tape "Take the Highway". The energy is flowing, and, not only is it the only known recording/performance of the song, but it's also the last filmed concert with Stan Lynch.

"You Wreck Me" and "You Don't Know How It Feels" were two standout tracks from the "Live at the Fillmore" DVD, and possibly the best versions of these songs.

"Crawling Back to You" is one of my favorite songs by TP, and a standout track from the "Live at Soundstage" DVD

Anybody have any favorite tracks that you know were performed live by TP, and not featured on this set?

Those are all great songs..but I guess artists have to balance what is popular with the more obscure tracks. I'm really excited about the documentary covering the making of Wildflowers. Should be interesting!
