Two B-sides from the '90s

"Girl on LSD", a Wildflowers outtake

And "Sweet William", an Echo outtake

All I can say that if coffee is a drug, a lot of here are druggies!

Also, if you saw Tom in 2008, you probably heard "Sweet William", DOES anyone remember it?

I saw them play Sweet William twice in 2008. Once in LA and once in Irvine. I don't care for that song too much. Too heavy and drawn out.

Girl on LSD is a nice little song. He played it in Philadelphia on the 2008 tour. They released an official mp3 version of that song to HIghway Companion Club members as a bonus, I think. I have it. There's also YouTube footage of that performance.

There are other songs that are just as rare as these two:

The entire disc 5 of The Live Anthology that was released only in Best Buy stores has a lot of interesting material that makes me wonder why it just wasn't released as a 5-disc set.

Apparently in the UK, the "I Won't Back Down" 12" single had a song called "Don't Treat Me Like a Stranger". This song remains a mystery to me because it actually should have appeared on Playback but did not.

"Home" and "Around the Roses" were released in early 2007 on the deluxe edition of Highway Companion and it was either both or one of those songs was intended for the final cut in late 2005, but both were dropped in favor of "Saving Grace".

Like the two Highway Companion outtakes, "Little Girl Blues" and "Mystery of Love" both came from the Mojo sessions, with the former song being released on the iTunes as part of a deluxe download edition of Mojo, and the other was released...somewhere, he77, I just found it on YouTube:
