Long After Dark - guitar

Post by mintygin »

I was wondering if anyone out there has ever tried playing "Change of Heart" or "Deliver Me" from the Long After Dark Album. I love both of these tracks, and would love to know what Mike is playing for the intro/solos for each. I appreciate any help.

Here's a little lesson for the rhythm part of CoH (which is also one of my favorites).

If it is to be, it is up to me.

I have the songbook for this album. It's for rhythm guitar and piano only -- no tabs. It's pretty accurate, but COH is played at 1/4 step above concert pitch, while "Deliver Me" is up a whole step. The songbook translates it for barre chords, but I play with a capo at 1st fret.

I believe that all of your "A's" are A minors.

That's not my video, just something I found on the 'tube. But I agree--they should be Am.
