The best Beatles tribute band ever (IMHO) was '1964 as the Beatles' which I was lucky to see a few times back in their heyday around the Boston/New England area in the mid-late 80s. Those guys were really amazing.
This was the last night of a long tour and I think the lads were tired. But the vocals were quality and a good time, while not guaranteed, was had by all (in a less than packed house) here in sleepy Corvallis Oregon.

Fire wall! We had one in the auditorium of my high school. Steel pates filled with asbestos/concrete. Since it was counterweighted it was pretty easy to raise and drop down, just like any other properly counterbalanced batten in the stage rigging.Soulsaman wrote:Looks like they're behind the curtains...
